I can remember the first time I went into the Tate Modern. I was exhausted and it took just a little too much time to understand what was going on. I think people feel that way about understanding my work sometimes!

Art, or rather the appreciation and understanding of art, has taken me on a journey that I never anticipated taking. However, in exploring and opening myself up to understand and appreciate art ,and specifically to what conceptual artists are trying to do, I have been challenged and enriched. It is where I have been stretched the most to consider what mission looks like in our current context.

I have come to believe that art is one of the best avenues for creating real dialogs about meaning and faith. Attached are articles and links related to my thinking around culture and the arts.
